Welcome! - I love fonts - I ADORE fonts. So - aftter collecting for years and
years and having lost some and found some others, I thought I'd finally offer at least some of them up to you!
I've tried to take the best points from my favorite font sites...

(realtively, it IS a font page, and I have a weakness for graphics - I really DID try to restrain myself though.....)
With the site-move (12-06) I consolidated a lot of pages, but it shouldn't be too bad if you're on dial-up. I spent too many years fighting with a 28k server to be evil with bandwidth!
You'll have pre-views of all the fonts.
I HATE having to open a separate page just to see what I'm getting, although I will say making all those graphics was a rather a PITA
As a refinement of my own, above each font is the word "Valkyrie". If you see "Valkyrie" in the font presented, you already have that font loaded on your computer. If it appears in the default font - you're home free! I've spent YEARS finding these fonts and it just pisses me off no end to think I've found a wonderful new font, download it gloating all the while only to unzip it and find I had it all along!
You'll notice that I have only certain types of fonts here, you won't find "dingbats" or 5 million variations of "courier". I like the fancy fonts. The Celtic fonts. The REALLY enthusiastic fonts. I've set them on separate pages to help with the download times.
Oh yes, all fonts are shown in 36 pt. type.
Final reminder - please be sure to let the entire page download before snagging your fonts. If you start to download a font before the page has loaded the page will cease to download and you'll have to start all over again so you can see the rest!
